Beverly : Setup Slider

With above-the-fold position, Slider section is great to showcase attractive images and catchy copy to engage visitors. You can enable/disable it from Theme Options.

To activate the Slider:

1. Go to Appearance >> Theme Options, it will open up our Ace Panel page.
2. Navigate to tab #5 Slider Settings.
3. Tick Enable feature posts slider on front page.. You can choose:
   • - to show the slider on ALL pages/posts OR homepage only.
   • - to show post title or not.
   • - to adjust slider speed.
4. Once you've finished with the setting, click Save Settings.

We use Custom Post Type for the slider. Now, how to add the slide:

1. Go to Slider>> Add New.
2. Insert title and the post/page url of where the image will go to.
3. Set featured image
4. It will pop-up a window. You get to choose whether to upload a new image from computer or use existing image from Gallery. In the sample below, we're choosing image from Gallery.
5. After you choose the image, click on use as featured image.
6. Click Save all changes and close the pop-up window. Press publish button and you're good to go.

Note: Image will be cropped to 960px (width) x 400px (height).
